The Text Options Editor gives you the ability to modify the text's attributes. Anything from scaling the x and y axis, the kerning, the line spacing, the font as well as enabling you to keep a favorites list.

The Editor will then enable you to load your movie into the background of the FLASHtyper. This will allow you to see how your text effect will look once imported into your movie. It will also allow you to ensure that your text effect is the right size, color and also ensure that it has been kerned and spaced properly.

To load a movie, enter the absolute URL of your movie (it must be available on the Web) into the space provided. Also add the width and the height, too. Once you click on the UPLOAD button your movie will load into the background. If you have a large movie give it some time. After it has loaded to can continue with generating your text effect.

Clicking on the HIGH/LOW button will toggle the visual quality of the FLASHtyper desktop. This function has been included for users who have slow or old computers and find that it is affecting their ability to use FLASHtyper. The HELP button will open the first tutorial in this series and will guide you through the use of FLASHtyper.
