This service and the entire Matrox.TV concept is provided for free to all Matrox users.
There are limits to the total storage and the number of downloads, to prevent people using this as a commercial venture. Its purpose is more for client approval or to share content amongst Matrox users. Infonet TV is quite different from the DigiSuite products. Infonet TV is a broadcast quality information channel. The screen contains multiple zones and within each zone is independently scheduled and programmed content. The zones generally contain graphical content such as logos, still images or text, but they can also contain video screens. The general layout is similar to what you would see on CNN or Bloomberg. The point of the product is to provide an interesting, high quality interface that can be used for public access cable, community channels, local channels such as corporate usage, information screens, etc. The video used could be MPEG or live video feed. Of the three basic modules, one of them is called Audience.tv which is used to create channel schedules, pages, etc. Another add-on module is Audience.web, which takes the entire channel and converts it to an HTML site.
