The compact 5-drive desktop VideoRaid RT2 features a single-channel SCSI interface and storage capacities up to 1.25 TB -- enough space for over 12 hours of 10-bit uncompressed SD footage. VideoRaid RT2 supports the real-time playback of multiple SD video streams and will capture and playback 8-bit, 1080/24p HD footage.

About VideoRaid RT2X

VideoRaid RT2X is a dual-channel SCSI disk array with ten disk drives and is available in storage capacities up to 2.5 TB in a low profile (3U) rack mountable enclosure. Each channel of the system supports real-time playback of multiple SD streams. When each "half" of VideoRaid RT2X is striped together using a dual-channel SCSI adapter, the system provides more than enough performance to capture and playback the highest quality 10-bit, 1080i HD footage.

VideoRaid RT2 and VideoRaid RT2X are compatible with the leading real-time SD and HD editing systems for both the Mac and Windows platforms including AJA's Io and Kona SD/HD, Pinnacle's CineWave RT Pro/HD and Avid non-linear editing systems.

VideoRaid RT2 is available in storage capacities of 400, 600, 800 and 1250 GB with US list prices starting at $2,099 (USD).
